Canoeing on the Wenuskie River from Marshfield to Plainfield, VT

relaxed, happy, excited, all at the same time!! A few days ago, my sister Heidi and I went canoeing on the Wenuskie River, from Marshfield, to Plainfield, VT. It was a bright and sunny day, and we had a lot of fun. We saw the following wildlife:

. some Canadian geese and their gosslings
. some wood ducks and their ducklings
. two American Toads, mating
. red-wing blackbirds
. sandpipers
. we heard some mouring doves and some green-thoated sparrows


We also harvested some fiddlehead ferns, and made a salad out of them for dinner.... I had an awesome time, and I hope I get the chance to canoe with my sister again, sometime!! :)
